FAQs

What are your rates?

My rates vary depending on the type of service and length of the session. You can see my rates on the services page. Please don’t hesitate to call or email if you have questions.

Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider. However, I can provide you with a superbill upon request to submit to your insurance company. I recommend calling your insurance provider and asking, “What are my out-of-network therapy benefits?” Your insurance can provide specifics about what your plan covers. I’m happy to answer any questions and support you in this process.

Here are some of the reasons Elevation Therapy has decided to stay a private pay practice:

  • You don’t need a diagnosis to receive services. Insurance companies require a diagnosis to determine whether services will be covered.

  • You are not limited to the number of sessions or length of services. Insurance companies can put limits on the number of sessions clients can receive. With private pay, you can decide with your therapist what feels appropriate for your needs.

  • There are no surprise fees if your insurance denies a claim. You know what your financial responsibility is upfront.

  • You can use your HSA or FSA card to pay for therapy services.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

I recognize that therapy can be expensive, especially when insurance cannot be billed. I offer a limited number of spots for individuals seeking sliding scale fees. Please call for more information and to see if there are spots available.

What payment options do you accept?

I accept HSA, FSA, and all major credit cards for payment. Payment is due in full at the time of service.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes. Please call or email at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment. Please note that cancellations with less than 24 hours of advanced notice are subject to a fee of $115.
