Atul is indian by origin but made Portugal his home more than 25 years ago.
Having left behind a successful career in telecoms, he decided to follow the call of the heart. Ever since he came in contact with yoga as a young boy in India, his dream was to spread yoga and share this science and wisdom to humanity.
His search for freedom took him to many schools, institutions and gurus, having studied Sivananda Yoga and Satyananda Yoga, as well as Kaivalyadhama and SVYASA, and more recently the methods of Iyengar Yoga and Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, as well as indian philosophy masters all helping towards the same goal. He complemented his yoga studies with bodywork through Ayurveda and Thai Massage as they are all closely linked together.
Since the last 15 years he has been conducting regular yoga classes in Portugal as well as workshops, seminars, courses and retreats in Europe and Asia. He has written and published 2 books so far, the first one on 'Mudras', the second one on 'Pranayama', and is currently working on a third book on 'Mantras'. Recently adding on the study of marma science and myofascial energetic release as applied therapies. All of the above are contributing and moving towards an integrated approach to a pain-free life.
